TCNJ Twilighters Make the Times

November 21, 2008

Wow!  Motivated students do fantastic work!  Four students enrolled in the event planning course at The College of NJ created a kick off that only a true vampire fan could sink their teeth into.  The Borders release party, planned, publicized and executed by the TCNJ Twilighter event group was a huge success last night here in Princeton, NJ.  Check out the great press!

And their pre-party website!

My Dad, Mr. Joe

November 20, 2008

My Dad was an amazing man with a determined spirit and loving heart.  He completed the NYC marathon for the fourth time on Sunday, November 2, 2008 and then moved on to his destiny beyond this physical world.  He made life interesting.  He made a difference in his community and in his family.  I miss him today and I will miss him tomorrow; but his spirit will be forever with me as I face life’s challenges.

Teaching students in interpersonal communication this semester at Rider University, we talk at length about how to lessen uncertainty through communication and how to achieve self actualization through the relationships we make.  This video and this article says it all when it comes to both traits necessary in building a healthy interpersonal lifestyle.

Mr. Joe continues to inspire even now as his legacy lives on in the hearts of others who challenge themselves to run farther, study longer, cook for more than they need to, give to those who have less than them and share their talents with those who need them.  If you think it is the right choice to make, don’t ask for permission to execute the act, do it and ask for forgiveness later; always…Live Strong and Ride Long! and do it again, again and again!
