As part of the continuing support of faculty, this evening will be another edition of professional and informational development here at Rider University. The Adjunct Information Session, to be held in the Princeton Room of Daly‘s, offers the opportunity for new and returning part time and full time faculty to learn from those who have been successful here at the University. Session leaders will introduce ways the faculty can find information, the protocol of using this information practically on campus and ways to enhance collaboration efforts with their peer teachers. My presentation entitled “Adding Value to Our University”, centers on ways we can contribute to the strategic plan here at Rider. Using the acronym, ART, I introduce the notion of Affiliations, Recommend, Teach, as ways we can contribute and add value to our colleagues and students here at Rider. Here is a link to the presentation along with a link to Rider’s Teaching and Learning Center.
