Please see my current resume.
I am the NCATE Assessment Coordinator at the School of Education and an Adjunct Assistant Professor I, teaching in the Communication and Journalism Department at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ. In my role as NCATE Assessment Coordinator, I provide leadership, innovation and technology support to the dean, faculty, students and staff at the School of Education. In Spring 2010, I executed the launch of a new assessment and portfolio system called TaskStream to aid in the re-accreditation and evaluation of programs for effective curriculum and student learning. Additionally, I coordinate and facilitate SMART Board, technology tools and E-Portfolio workshops to enhance the 21st Century skill sets for pre-service teachers and faculty.
As a communication instructor, I integrate technology into my classroom activities and lectures including Web 2.0 applications, video and audio components. I present my technology applied teaching style at national conferences, international organizations such as the United States Coast Guard and Miele Inc. and train instructors on the usage of efficient tools for their courses. Additionally, I have a rich background in news and video production and I have had much experience branding images, developing a fan base and creating an exciting and welcoming atmosphere for clients and guests on the corporate level using my communication skill set. Through this practice, I developed and strategically distributed innovative marketing materials and video releases to sell productions, the goods and the company. I am also well-versed in Internet products that enable collaborative and promotional efforts.
I have been teaching on the university level for the past fifteen years, spending the last five at Rider University. Along with engaging students in the interactive classroom using such applications as podcasting, blogging, Google Docs and vodcasting, I have had many occasions, through Rider’s Teaching and Learning Center/Faculty Development, to work with professors and staff in various departments to augment their technology knowledge and usage in the classroom and beyond. Additionally, I have presented at conferences sponsored by the New Jersey Communication Association and the Conference on English Leadership on such topics as Student Generated Content, Blogging as a Pedagogical Teaching Tool and A Guide to an Interactive Classroom. As a recent Sprint commercial states, “Technology is only great when you know how to use it”, therefore I have worked very diligently to enrich my technology base and branch very successfully into Web 2.0 and open source solutions to everyday communication needs.

Professor Carbonaro, I was wondering if you had an email I can personally write to you. I was your student during my EOP summer in 2007 at Rider University.
